How to Make Chicken Uppukari

   

CHICKEN UPPUKARI

Chicken Uppukari is one of the south Indian Dish. This recipe is acclaimed in Chettinad hotels. It blended with flavours.

INGREDIENTS:

300grams  of Chicken (cut into small pieces)

50ml  of Coconut oil  50ml

7 Dry Red chillies (broken into  3 Small Pieces)

Small onions

3 tbsp Garam Masala

1 tbsp Chilli Powder

½ tbsp Tumeric Powder

1 tbsp Pepper Powder

1 tbsp Ginger Paste

1 tbsp Garlic paste

A handful of Curry Leaves

½ cup Corriander Leaves (Finely Chopped)

Salt to Taste

PREPARATION:

Step 1: Take a Pan and add Chicken to the dry pan

Step 2: Now add Salt, Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste, Tumeric Powder, Garam Masala, Chilli Powder

Step 3: Add a little amount of water and cook till Chicken is Done

Step 4: Take another pan and Heat the Coconut Oil the add  small onion, Curry leaves, Dry Red chillies and ginger garlic paste and Saute it well

Step 5:Now add the Boiled Chicken and toss it well

Step 6: Cover a pan with the top and cook it for 5-10 minutes.

Step 7: Finally add the Pepper powder and the Corriander Leaves.

Step 8: Serve it hot

To live a full life, you need to fill your stomach first.
