2. Vellingiri hills

Vellingiri hills is one of the best locations to trek near coimbatore. it is one of the four hills surrounding Attapady plateau. Precautions: 

1. The trekking season is from February till May every year.  the best time to trek here is at night time
2. it is really difficult to trek in the daytime as the surface will be very hot. Girls between the age of 15–45 are not allowed to trek here.  
3. Trekkers should carry bamboo sticks when you come down you would definitely need one, else it would be very difficult coming down without support of the bamboo stick.
4. trekkers should not carry any plastic covers or bags. Instructed to carry with water and food due to dehydration and if u travel at night torch light is mandatory.

3. Singanallur Lake

Singanallur Lake is one of the biggest of the nine lakes and the most mainstream place for picnics and to observe transitory flying creatures. 4. Textile Museum

6. Dhyanalinga Temple

7. Anamalai Tiger Reserve Pollachi

It’s also called Anamalai tiger reserve as it is located in the Anamalai hills of Pollachi. Aanamalai Tiger Reserve, earlier known as Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park and previously as Aanamalai Wildlife Sanctuary, is a protected area located in the Anamalai Hills of Pollachi and Valparai taluks of Coimbatore District and Udumalaipettai taluk in Tiruppur District. The park is named after former late Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi who visited the park on 7 1961. The main tourist facilities are located in the northeast corner of the park called TopSlip.
