INGREDIENTS:
1 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
3 tablespoon ghee
1 small bunch blended dry organic products
water as required
2 1/2 cup ground yam
1/4 cup sugar
8 strand saffron
2 tablespoon Cold milk
Steps to make Halwa:
Step 1:To make delightful halwa, boil the yams in a cooker. When done, let them cool to the side. Then, we have to peel and mash the sweet potatoes in a bowl.
Step2:Take a little bowl and combine as one the cold milk and saffron to plan saffron milk. Keep this saffron milk to the side until required.
Step 3: Put a thick non-stick pan over medium fire and soften ghee in it. When the ghee is softened, add pounded yams in it and saute for 2-3 minutes till they are light brown in shading.
Step 4:Then put milk in the pan and add a pinch of cardamom powder, sugar and water. Mix to blend well and cook the yams for around 7-8 minutes. Ensure you mix continuously as there are high possibilities of yams staying at the base.
Step 5: At last, add saffron milk in the container Sliced mix with dry fruits. Mix to blend well and cook for an additional 5 minutes while mixing consistently.
Step 6:When the milk is totally consumed, turn off the heat and serve hot. You can also garnish yam halwa with some dry fruits and saffron fibers.
