VEGETABLE CUTLET
On cold winter evenings, you need some snack that can be quickly prepared and should be hot and tasty too. A vegetable cutlet is a simple and yummy patty that can be served as an evening snack with tomato sauce or mint chutney. you can use this cutlet as a burger patty.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Carrot
3 medium-size Potato
4-5 Beans
25 grams of Peas
1 Onion
Salt
Bread crumbs or Rusk powder
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
1 tbsp Green chili
1 tbsp Garam masala
1 tbsp Pepper powder
3 tbsp Rice flour
1 tbsp Garlic paste
PREPARATION :
Step 1: Firstly chop the carrot, beans, potato into small cubes.
Step 2: Steam all the vegetables in a pressure cooker(note: vegetables must be soft-cooked and firm it must not be soggy)
Step 3: Now mash the boiled vegetables
Step 4: After that add the coriander leaves, Green Chillies, Garam Masala, Pepper powder, ginger paste.
Step 5: Mix every thing well.
Step 6: Now add some bread crumbs if your mixture is soggy
Step 7: mix everything. Take a small portion of the mixture and make a patty(Note: the mixture should be non-sticky and must not be soggy).
Step 8: now make a thin batter using 2 tbsp of Rice flour. The batter need not be coated with much batter(note: if it becomes moist it is just enough)
Step 9: coat the patty with the bread crumbs on both sides.
Step 10: Leave patties for about 10 to 15 minutes or refrigerate for 5 mins.
Step 11: Heat oil in a pan and make a deep fry.
Step 12: Serve it hot :)
