How to Make Coconut Milk Rice?


The Coconut Milk Rice is very simple to make. These are the steps to prepare coconut milk rice;


Coconut Milk As Needed - 1 & 3/4 Cup

Basmati Rice - 1 Cup

Ghee & Coconut Oil - As Needed

Cinnamon – Small size 1 or 2 sticks

Cloves – 2 to 4 Nos

Cardamom – 3 Nos

Large Size Onion – 3 Nos

White Garlic - 20 Nos

Green Chillies - 7 Nos

Mint - 1 Cup

Coriander - A Little

Preparation Steps:-

Wash the Rice Well and soak the Basmati Rice for 10 minutes. Pour Coconut Oil and Ghee into a cooker; add all these ingredients one at a time, starting with Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, Green Chillies, Garlic & Chopped Onions.


Once the onion has turned slight brown in color, add the mint and coriander leaves. Then finally add the soaked Basmati Rice and Coconut Milk. Allow it to cook till 2 Whistle. Once it’s cooked add few drops of ghee & mix it well. Serve this dish with any side dishes like potato fry, etc….
